Have you been to the Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival? This is our first year selling our soy candles at it. We've heard to bring lots of stock as there are tons of people.

Hopefully we'll have fragrances people are looking for and not have to pack up on Sunday night :-)

What is your favorite candle fragrance? We'd love to hear from you. We are testing one right now that we cannot get enough of...it's similar to the Aquolina Blue Sugar cologne. Begins with a blend of caramelized sugar and vanilla topped with notes of cedar and rich notes of licorice, patchouli, lavender, and finished with anise and ginger. We will be offering this one soon....

In Kimmswick, MO...Carol's Corner just purchased an inventory that will be delivered today. If you're in the area, stop by and see her! This is the home of the famous Blue Owl Restaurant as well. So why not check out our candles and have a great lunch!

The Alton Antique Center in Alton IL will be restocking their candles on September 12. Don't forget to check them out. AND, check out Fast Eddies Bon Air - the BEST bar in the midwest. Great food, great atmosphere!

Stop and Smell the Roses.

That saying has been spoken many times over the years; “stop and smell the roses!” Do any of us really do that anymore? With the 60 or more hour work weeks, the carpools, the soccer games, the fast paced day in day out assembly line of life, is there any time? How I long for the day when I was a child and felt time stood still.
Wouldn’t it be nice to just sit back on your couch cuddled up with a blanket, your loved one, some old fashioned popcorn and watch “I Love Lucy” re-runs? What can make this even more pleasing? How about the comforting aroma of apple pie baking in the oven? Ok, so you’re not a baker, but you can still enjoy that comforting fragrance with a candle. “Stop and Smell the Candles”.

Our sense of smell is a powerful thing. It can calm us, energize us, seduce us, and even bring us back to a time in our lives we enjoy reminiscing about.
